Registry error in any rom hacking program

If one of you program's have an error saying something like 'COMCTL32.OCX or COMDLG32.OCX is not registed or missing.'

This means that the one of those files is missing and\or not registed in your computer's system.

To solve this problem, do the following steps: (NOTE: I'm not responsible if your computer system is messed up if you followed the instructions incorrectly or anything else!)

1: On google, search up the file that is missing on your system. (Search something like 'COMCTL32.OCX download' or something like that

2: Download the file.

3: Extract the file COMCTL32.OCX or COMDLG32.OCX and put it into your system folder ('C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32')

4: Click Start>Run or open command line and enter regsvr C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\COMCTL32.OCX or regsvr C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\COMDLG32.OCX depending what file you're missing. It should say that the file is now registed.

Download the file and place it where the program that you're trying to run is.


Run your program that having trouble and it should start running!
